Position Opening:  Life Skills Support Teacher
Location: Biglerville Elementary School
Date of Availability: 2026-2027 School Year

The Elementary Life Skills Teacher is responsible for providing specialized instruction and support to elementary school students with significant cognitive or developmental disabilities in a life skills classroom setting. This role involves teaching essential life skills, fostering independence, and promoting students' functional abilities in preparation for transition to
post-elementary settings. 

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Education.
  2. Pennsylvania Certification in Special Education and one other content area.
  3. Basic computer skills including word processing, e-mail, accessing and creating files, and utilizing the internet.
  4. Must secure all background checks as required by PA Department of Education.
  5. Maintain confidentiality
