SUMMER 2026 - Student Library Assistant

Desired skills and additional qualifications (if applicable):  

Seeking reliable, detail-oriented individual to assist in the libraries' daily operations. Assistants must be goal and team oriented, well organized, self-motivated, proactive and resourceful. The primary duties involve shelving, cleaning and inventorying the libraries' collection and co-managing the front desk as a customer service representative. Knowledge of the Dewey Decimal and Library of Congress Classification systems a plus, but will train. Some duties may involve climbing ladders and pushing 25# book carts. 

Hours per week: 10-40 hours/week

Required work schedule:  weekdays, some evenings and weekends (please see online application form for specific shifts)

Required start date: May 26th, 2026

Compensation:  $10/hour
