About the Role
We are looking for a Manager in Training to join our team of energetic, forward-thinking individuals. This is a leadership-track position where you will play a key role in daily operations, student experience, and team development.
This role is designed as a clear pathway to Center Director, intended for someone who wants to grow into a leadership position and manage a Code Ninjas location.
Key Responsibilities
- Open/close the center and serve as a key-holder
- Lead and coordinate daily dojo activities
- Coach and mentor instructors (Code Senseis)
- Engage students and support their learning experience
- Manage front desk operations and assist parents
- Maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment
- Track and report student progress and center needs
Role Expectations
- Student Safety: Complete training in basic emergency response (first aid, allergic reactions, etc.)
- Leadership Development: Participate in ongoing training and leadership meetings
- Sales & Customer Engagement: Communicate confidently with parents in person and over the phone
- Reliability: Maintain strong attendance, punctuality, and clear communication
- Team Leadership: Help create a high-energy, supportive environment for staff and students
- Commitment: 30–40 hours per week
Qualifications
- Strong ability to manage groups of children and instructors
- Tech-savvy (basic programming knowledge preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive, energetic, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work 30–40 hours per week
- Availability range: T–F 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, Saturday 8:30 AM–2:30 PM
