About the Role

We are looking for a Manager in Training to join our team of energetic, forward-thinking individuals. This is a leadership-track position where you will play a key role in daily operations, student experience, and team development.

This role is designed as a clear pathway to Center Director, intended for someone who wants to grow into a leadership position and manage a Code Ninjas location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Open/close the center and serve as a key-holder
  • Lead and coordinate daily dojo activities
  • Coach and mentor instructors (Code Senseis)
  • Engage students and support their learning experience
  • Manage front desk operations and assist parents
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment
  • Track and report student progress and center needs

Role Expectations

  • Student Safety: Complete training in basic emergency response (first aid, allergic reactions, etc.)
  • Leadership Development: Participate in ongoing training and leadership meetings
  • Sales & Customer Engagement: Communicate confidently with parents in person and over the phone
  • Reliability: Maintain strong attendance, punctuality, and clear communication
  • Team Leadership: Help create a high-energy, supportive environment for staff and students
  • Commitment: 30–40 hours per week

Qualifications

  • Strong ability to manage groups of children and instructors
  • Tech-savvy (basic programming knowledge preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive, energetic, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work 30–40 hours per week
  • Availability range: T–F 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, Saturday 8:30 AM–2:30 PM
