Commercial Truck Rental & Lease Sales Account Manager

Primary Responsibilities

 

Rental Sales

 

  1. Develop and implement a rental sales and marketing plan.
  2. Develop and use a systematic approach to rental sales calls utilizing telemarketing, mailers and personal customer visits.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with large volume rental customers.
  4. Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to management as required.
  5. Establish Idealease rates for various equipment types through market analysis.
  6. Maintain a customer/prospect sales database.

 

Lease Sales

 

  1. Acquisition of New and Add contract business.
  2. Be Responsive to all customer needs and requests.
  3. Achieve new, add and renewal annual sales quota to the desired gross margin requirements.
  4. Sales and marketing of the Idealease Sales Department.
  5. Assist the management team in preparing an Annual Business Plan.  

 

Rental/Lease/Dedicated Maintenance Sales

 

  1. Develop and implement a Rental/Lease/Dedicated Maintenance Sales and Prospecting Plan.
  2. Develop and use a systematic approach to the Rental/Lease/Dedicated Maintenance Sales, utilizing      sales tools along with customer development calls.  
  3. Maintain a Lead/Prospect/Customer database. 
  4. Develop and maintain customer relationships.
  5. Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to management on new prospects and existing proposals
  6. currently in the pipeline.

     

Sales Operations

 

  1. Daily interaction with all Idealease departments to ensure Rental/Lease customers are maintained to
  2. highest level of customer service. 
  3. Maintain and review Customer Evaluations on a periodic basis to ensure good customer relations. 
  4. Follow company procedures regarding all credit policies and assist on collection efforts.
  5. Use all Idealease sales tools including the Idealease Rating System, and all other sales tools offered on the Idealease Resource Center or Idealease Barrington.
  6. Maintain current new unit delivery report and update for all forecasting purposes.

  1. Communicate and cooperate with all departments.
  2. Focus on education and increasing industry expertise. 
  3. Handle all employee and customer issues in a professional and courteous manner. 
  4. Any other duties assigned by the Idealease General Manager. 
  5. Complete assigned tasks within allotted timeframe. 
  6. Display an aptitude to learn and advance.
  7. Eagerly participate in company sponsored training events. 
  8. Interact with customers professionally and courteously at all times.
  9. Promote an atmosphere of cooperation, teamwork and goodwill with fellow employees. 

Display honesty in all company related dealings.
