Community Outreach & Events Coordinator

Position Summary

The Community Outreach & Events Coordinator collaborates with the COO and leadership team to bring marketing initiatives to life, strengthen community connections, and support the successful execution of events. This is a hands-on role centered on organization, execution, and relationship-building that directly supports the growth and visibility of our programs.
 

Key Responsibilities

Community Outreach & Engagement

  • Actively engage in the community to build relationships, promote services, and help identify potential new locations and opportunities for expansion of the TRP Children’s Program
  • Actively engage within current TRP program locations to strengthen relationships, promote services, and increase participation and community awareness
  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, organizations, and local businesses
  • Represent Alliance Counseling Associates at community events, chamber events, and networking opportunities

Events & Community Presence

  • Plan, organize, and assist with company events and community outreach events
  • Coordinate event logistics including setup, execution, and follow-through
  • Ensure Alliance is prepared and professionally represented at all outreach events

Marketing & Content Creation

  • Assist in managing and maintaining social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement
  • Create and design marketing materials using tools like Canva
  • Assist in implementing outreach and marketing efforts to enhance awareness, engagement, and participation

Branding & Merchandise

  • Coordinate the creation, inventory, and ordering of Alliance-branded merchandise to support events and marketing initiatives

Administrative & Internal Support

  • Assist in coordinating employee materials and communications, including badges, business cards, and internal and external employment announcements
  • Provide general administrative and project support to the COO and leadership team as needed

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or Marketing preferred)
  • Some HR and/or marketing experience preferred
  • 18 years or older with a clean background and driving record
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable using technology and eager to learn platforms such as Canva, Google Workspace, and Meta Business Suite
  • Reliable, professional, and self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
