Sustainability Coordinator Intern

Go See The City  is seeking a passionate and purpose-driven Sustainability Coordinator Intern who is committed to making a positive impact on the environment and reducing food waste.

In this role, you will support initiatives that help businesses donate surplus food, reduce waste, and strengthen connections with local nonprofits. You will work closely with our team to coordinate sustainability efforts, track impact, and help expand our network of partners.

This is a great opportunity for a college student who is passionate about sustainability, environmental impact, and community change, and wants hands-on experience working with a mission-driven startup.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Learn about our sustainability mission, platform, and how we reduce food waste
  • Support coordination of food donation efforts between partners and nonprofits
  • Assist with onboarding and communicating with restaurants, venues, and organizations
  • Help track and report sustainability metrics such as pounds of food diverted and meals served
  • Research sustainability trends, environmental initiatives, and partnership opportunities
  • Support outreach efforts to grow our network of environmentally conscious partners
  • Assist with creating content and materials that promote sustainability efforts
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve impact and efficiency
  • Work directly with leadership on sustainability initiatives and special projects

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Current college student 
  • Strong passion for sustainability, environmental impact, and reducing food waste
  • Interest in environmental studies, business, public policy, or related fields
  • Self-starter who is eager to learn and take initiative
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
