Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator Intern to join our team in-person for Summer 2026. This is a hands-on role designed for someone who wants real-world experience working on active client accounts, content shoots, and day-to-day agency operations.

You will work directly with our Social Media Manager and creative team to support content execution, engagement, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Publish and schedule content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc)
• Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and reviews
• Assist in building and organizing monthly content calendars
• Support and participate in in-person photo and video shoots (including setup, content capture, and occasional on-camera presence)
• Research and track social media trends to support content strategy
• Maintain organization of digital assets within Dropbox and internal systems
• Contribute creative ideas for content, campaigns, and brand storytelling

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Marketing, Communications, Business, or related program
• Strong interest in social media, content creation, and digital marketing
• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in-person and collaborating with a team
• Bonus: Experience with photo/video editing tools (Adobe, CapCut, etc.)

Additional Details

• Compensation: $15.00/hr
• Schedule: Flexible, approximately 20 hours per week
• Location Requirement: This is an in-person role based in Reno, NV. Candidates must be available to attend shoots and work on-site.
