Position Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Associate focused on Content Creation to help tell our brand story within the outdoor and shooting sports industry. This role will create engaging, authentic content that connects with hunters, shooters, and outdoor enthusiasts while supporting marketing campaigns and product launches.
The ideal candidate has a passion for the outdoors and a strong ability to create compelling content across multiple formats, including written, visual, and video.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and produce content for marketing channels including website, email, social media, and digital campaigns
- Write engaging copy for product descriptions, blogs, emails, and marketing materials related to optics and outdoor use
- Develop visual and video content (product demos, range footage, hunting scenarios, how-to content, etc.)
- Assist with content capture in the field (range days, hunts, events, product testing)
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns aligned with brand strategy and product launches
- Maintain and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely output
- Ensure all content aligns with brand voice and resonates with the outdoor community
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and content styles within the outdoor and shooting space
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–2 years of experience in content creation, marketing, or related role
- Strong writing and storytelling skills
- Experience with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.)
- Basic video editing and photography skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Interest in or familiarity with hunting, shooting sports, or outdoor recreation
Preferred (Not Required)
- Personal experience with optics (riflescopes, binoculars, spotting scopes)
- Portfolio of relevant content (outdoor, hunting, shooting, or product-focused)
- Experience capturing content in outdoor environments
- Familiarity with SEO and content optimization
- Experience working with influencers or brand ambassadors in the outdoor space
