Internship Overview

Dolan Auto Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team for the summer. This internship is ideal for college junior or senior-level students pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in a real-world, fast-paced dealership accounting environment. Successful interns may be considered for continued or full-time employment with Dolan Auto Group based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries

· Support month-end close processes and account reconciliations

· Review, organize, and maintain financial documentation and schedules

· Assist with dealership-specific reporting, such as sales, inventory, and expense analysis

· Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives

· Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in all accounting tasks

Qualifications

· Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

· Junior or Senior standing preferred

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic accounting principles

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation
