About the Role
This is a hands-on internship for someone who wants real marketing experience across multiple disciplines. You'll work directly with the founder on affiliate growth, community building, content, and brand awareness in a way that gives you a genuine portfolio and a broad skill set. If you're early in your marketing career and want to touch a little bit of everything, this is that opportunity.
This is an unpaid internship. We are committed to making sure your time is worthwhile — you'll leave with real deliverables, documented experience, academic credit (where applicable), and a portfolio of work you actually created.
What You'll Be Doing
Market Research & Support
- Monitoring competitors and tracking industry trends
- Supporting customer survey outreach and summarizing findings
- Assisting with community partnerships, and promotional opportunities as they arise
Email Marketing Support
- Assisting with building and maintaining our email list
- Drafting simple newsletters for founder review before sending
- Representing our brand voice consistently — warm, knowledgeable, and genuine
Community Engagement & Content Support
- Responding to comments and DMs across our social media channels
- Engaging with relevant accounts and hashtags to grow our presence organically
- Reaching out to existing customers to request testimonials, photos, and reviews
- Taking founder-created content and adapting it for Pinterest, TikTok, blog, and other platforms
Affiliate & Influencer Outreach
- Building and maintaining a list of micro and nano influencers aligned with our brand and audience
- Sending personalized outreach emails and tracking responses using our established pipeline system
- Following up with interested influencers and managing them through the onboarding process
What We're Looking For
- Studying marketing, communications, public relations, nutrition, or a related field
- Genuine interest in health, wellness, nutrition, social media marketing or the parenting/family space is a strong plus
- Strong written communication skills — you can write like a real person, not a press release
- Self-directed and comfortable managing your own time in a remote setting
- Comfortable across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and/or Pinterest
- Organized and detail-oriented — you follow through, keep records, and don't need to be chased
- Bonus: familiarity with email or content creation platforms like Wix, Canva, or basic content scheduling tools
