Job Summary: Sales Intern
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and creative individual with a foundational understanding of marketing and sales principles and a desire to grow their career within a reputable firm.
The Marketing & Sales Intern will work closely with our marketing, sales, and operations teams to support both promotional initiatives and revenue-generating activities. You’ll gain hands-on experience in content creation, lead generation, customer outreach, campaign coordination, and sales support — all while learning how marketing and sales work together to drive business growth in the waste and recycling equipment industry.
Responsibilities:
As a Marketing & Sales Intern at Big Stuff, Inc., you’ll wear multiple hats and gain well-rounded experience across departments. Every day will look a little different, but you can expect to:
- Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns to promote our products and services.
- Brainstorm and create content for our website, social media, and email newsletters.
- Support lead generation efforts and outreach to potential clients via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Help prepare quotes, proposals, and sales presentations.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM system, including leads, contacts, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with management and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and aligned strategies.
- Assist with trade shows, events, and networking opportunities.
- Track campaign and sales performance to help identify what’s working and where we can improve.
- Support bid submissions, follow-ups, and general sales coordination tasks.

- Are pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Enjoy talking with people and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- You’re familiar with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (bonus points for Canva, Adobe, or CRM tools).
- You’re organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
