Job Description

SUMMARY
Teach elementary students according to State and District standards. Develop and implement lesson plans and istructional materials. Evaluate student learning and communicate progress to students, parents, and other stakeholders. Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demostrate commitment to continuous learning.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field

Arizona Department of Education Teacher Certification

Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

 

COMMENTS
Effective: 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR
Location: Grijalva Elementary School 
FTE : 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month

 

Two positions available

Grade Levels Currently Available:

  • Kindergarten
  • 1st Grade
  • 2nd Grade
  • 3rd Grade
  • 4th Grade
  • 5th Grade

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
