Additive Manufacturing Sales Engineer
Primary Responsibilities (50% of the time)
Identify potential applications for Metal 3D printing process (LBPF & sinter-based 3D printing processes like Binder-Jet & Lithographic) in the North American market (USA, Canada, & Mexico).
· Identify potential applications for the Metal Injection Molding process in the specific market segment in the USA.
· Make visits to potential customer locations and conduct customer education presentations, technical discussions to evaluate a given application.
· Effectively use the Salesforce platform to log sales promotion activities and review the RFQ/ Quote pipeline on a weekly basis.
· Conduct marketing campaigns promoting INDO-MIM 3D printing capabilities through email campaigns, conducting webinars, phone calls, etc., on a regular basis, and evaluate the efficacy of the efforts on a time-to-time basis.
· Effectively use prospecting tools such as an internet-based customer database, AI Tools, web search, cold calls, and networking. A monthly report to be generated covering activities, such as the number of prospective customers evaluated, sales promotion visits made, brochures/samples mailed, etc.
· After the successful closure of the order, closely interact with the plant and customer teams to ensure a smooth, timely introduction of the programs into production. Your role would be to arrange all necessary information, including smooth, precise communication between the relevant teams within INDO-MIM and the customer end.
· Take the lead in participating in and managing the relevant trade shows and other advertising campaigns as applicable.
Operational Support to 3D printing Team and MIM Team (50%)
· Follow up and develop DFM documents with the Technical Team for programs under consideration. Work with the customer to get DFM finalized before the print.
· Assist the 3D Printing team and the MIM Team on quality-related subjects & documentation.
· Provide after-sales support to existing customers. Always maintain a high level of customer confidence through continuous, professional, and precise communications.
· Get involved as warranted with quality/ delivery issues when they arise, and support customers in all possible ways to retain customer confidence with Indo-MIM. Involve plant personnel on both technical and commercial issues to the extent possible and as required when dealing with quality/delivery issues.
· Closely coordinate with the plant quality team to resolve quality issues for any program at the customer end.
· Coordinate with the customer AP and INDO-MIM AR teams when AR delinquency arises.
