About the Internship
Our Human Resources Internship offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in HR operations, people management systems, recruitment, and organizational development within a dynamic coworking environment.
Interns will work closely with the executive and operations teams to support hiring, onboarding, employee engagement, performance tracking, and HR systems development.
Available for the Fall, Spring, and Summer, this internship runs for 4 months at 15 hours per week and can be completed in-person, remotely, or through a hybrid approach, allowing flexibility to accommodate your academic schedule.
Interns at Flourish Coworking Space work directly with leadership and play an integral role in strengthening our internal team systems. We foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and autonomy, providing continuous feedback and guidance to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Role & Responsibilities
Recruitment & Hiring Support: Assist with job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and hiring pipeline tracking.
Onboarding Coordination: Help prepare onboarding schedules, ensure required documentation is completed, and track onboarding progress.
HR Systems & Reporting: Maintain hiring dashboards, onboarding trackers, and people data reports to provide visibility into team operations.
Manager Accountability Support: Track completion of manager check-ins, one-on-ones, and required reports to support leadership consistency.
Employee File & Documentation Management: Maintain organized digital employee records and ensure compliance with required documentation.
Performance Rhythm Support: Assist in tracking one-on-one meetings, action items, and performance documentation processes.
Engagement & Culture Support: Support employee recognition initiatives, engagement surveys, and internal communication efforts.
Timesheet & Compliance Monitoring: Track timesheet submissions and follow up on missing or late entries.
Operational HR Projects: Contribute to improving HR processes, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
General Administrative Tasks: Perform HR-related administrative duties as needed.
Education & Experience
- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in a related field at an accredited college or university.
- Relevant work experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in G-Suite, Microsoft Word, and Excel is required.
