Requirements:
- Possession of a valid Michigan Department of Education Annual Career Authorization in CIP area(43.0100) or the ability to obtain, which requires 4,000 hours of paid, recent, and relevant work experience in the related field (within the last 10 years) and appropriate licensure if applicable.
- Pursuant with State of Michigan Student Safety Legislation, all prospective hires must provide fingerprinting and background check results to the District prior to employment.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or relevant vocational specialty area.
- Valid Michigan Teacher Certification with CTE - Criminal Justice and Corrections (43.0100)
Salary/Benefits: Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule. Full-time with benefit package.
