Applied Materials is hiring students and recent graduates to join our Field Service Engineer team and start a hands-on engineering career in the semiconductor industry.
This role is ideal for new grads who want real-world experience, structured training, and long-term career growth while working with advanced technology that powers AI, EVs, cloud computing, and more.
What You’ll Do
- Install, maintain, and upgrade advanced semiconductor equipment
- Learn troubleshooting and diagnostics with support from senior engineers
- Work directly with customers in professional, technical environments
- Gain hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, vacuum, gas, and plasma systems
- Follow safety, quality, and process standards at customer sites
Training & Development
- Structured 6–8 month training program
- Classroom instruction and hands-on lab training
- On-the-job learning alongside experienced Field Service Engineers
- Designed to help you transition from student to independent professional
Who Should Apply
- Recent graduates or students nearing completion of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- Engineering, electronics, engineering technology, or technical majors
