Temporary Receptionist (Short-term Mid-May Opportunity) at International Nonprofit
As the temporary Receptionist at this international nonprofit, you will be the first point of contact for visiting guests, callers, and internal staff. In this role, you’ll also provide essential administrative support to the office, assist with basic IT troubleshooting, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate events. The team is seeking a customer-service-oriented professional who enjoys wearing many hats and supporting colleagues in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a high-volume phone line, greet guests, and act as a professional and courteous liaison between the public and internal staff.
- Coordinate and prepare conference rooms and manage a busy, shared calendar.
- File and retrieve documents, records, and reports to assist with project and deal management.
- Provide administrative support to the DC team, including maintaining financial tracking spreadsheets, submitting expense reports, preparing onboarding materials, coordinating physical setups, and distributing supplies.
- Manage office inventory, supplies, upkeep, and vendor relationships.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and operational initiatives as needed.
