Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative Preschool Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals interested in careers in psychology, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social work, or education. Teachers at The Village play a vital role in creating an inclusive classroom where all children feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a warm, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
• Support children with a wide range of developmental needs and abilities
• Implement play-based learning activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Collaborate with therapists (OT, speech, behavioral) and support staff to meet individual student goals
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Observe and document student progress and behavior
• Encourage communication, peer interaction, and independence in daily routines

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children (preschool preferred)
• Interest in child development, inclusive education, or therapeutic fields
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with children
• Current students or graduates in psychology, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social work, or related fields are highly encouraged to apply
