AI Marketing Intern

About the Role

Regal Staffing is hiring a summer marketing intern who's already comfortable using AI tools and wants to apply them to real marketing work. You'll create ads and marketing materials for our Industrial and Professional divisions across six DFW branches, and you'll help us build smarter workflows so the marketing team can move faster and produce better output. This role is a good fit if you've gone beyond casual ChatGPT use — you've built custom GPTs, experimented with Claude Projects, iterated on prompts until they worked, or strung tools together to automate something annoying.

What You'll Do

  • Create marketing collateral across formats: social ads, LinkedIn content, email campaigns, landing pages, one-pagers, and recruiting ads
  • Draft, schedule, and post ads across LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook, and Instagram for all six DFW branches
  • Build reusable AI workflows for the marketing team — prompt templates for job ad generation, content repurposing across divisions, campaign variant testing, and performance summaries
  • Develop a prompt library and documented workflows that outlast your internship
  • Help manage our LinkedIn presence, including the Showcase Page for our light industrial division
  • Use AI tools for competitive research, market analysis, and copywriting drafts that you then refine
  • Evaluate output carefully — catch hallucinations, brand drift, and weak copy before it ships
  • Test new AI marketing tools as they emerge and recommend what's worth adopting

What We're Looking For

  • Real experience using AI tools for substantive work — you can point to specific things you've built or problems you've solved, not just "I use ChatGPT sometimes"
  • Comfort iterating on prompts until they produce good output consistently
  • Strong writing skills; AI drafts need a human editor with taste, and that's you
  • Design sensibility and fluency with Canva (Figma or Adobe experience is a plus)
  • Good judgment about when AI helps and when it doesn't — a hand-crafted LinkedIn post sometimes beats a generated one
  • Self-direction: you can take a rough brief, make reasonable decisions, and come back with smart questions
  • Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business, design, or related field — or equivalent demonstrable experience

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with automation platforms like Zapier or Make
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Campaign Manager or Meta Ads Manager
  • Prior work with image generation tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, Nano Banana) for marketing
  • Experience building custom GPTs, Claude Projects, or similar
  • Basic SEO and content marketing knowledge
  • Interest in staffing, B2B services, or HR tech

What You'll Gain

  • A portfolio of shipped work spanning traditional marketing and AI-integrated workflows — a strong combination on the job market
  • Real ownership, not busywork
  • Direct mentorship from our marketing team and exposure to senior leadership
  • Experience at a woman-owned, WBENC-certified firm serving major corporate clients
