Golden Grizzlies Band Public Relations/Equipment Manager

Duties include:

• Must be an active performing member of the OU Golden Grizzlies Band (signed up for both semesters).
• Must be able to work and communicate through Google Drive, Email, and various Google Docs.
• Communicating and working with the Director and Graduate Assistants to accomplish weekly tasks.
• Assisting the head Equipment Manager with all equipment set-up and movement for the ensemble. This includes arriving early to each performance to help set up drum set and other items from storage, and stay after to help tear down.
• Manage the Golden Grizzlies Social Media platforms on a regular basis.
• Promote the Golden Grizzlies Band throughout the University. When needed, create fliers for events.
• Be the student that meets and greets prospective high school students when they arrive to “sit in” with the ensemble.
• Attend all off-campus ensemble performances (tournament games, off-site home games, etc.). 
• Other duties as assigned by the Director or the Grizz Band Graduate Assistants.
