Summer Media Intern

Five Ducks Foundation is seeking a creative and motivated college student to join our team as a Summer Media & Social Content Intern for Camp Five Ducks in Danbury, CT. This is a hands-on opportunity to capture real moments, create engaging content, and build a professional portfolio while working in a fun, fast-paced youth camp environment.

The intern will play a key role in documenting daily camp activities and helping share the Camp Five Ducks experience with families and the community through social media.

Responsibiltiies

• Capture photo and video content during camp activities
• Create short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook
• Edit and organize content using mobile apps (CapCut, InShot, etc.)
• Assist with storytelling, including camper experiences and testimonials
• Support weekly social media content creation and posting
• Ensure all content aligns with the Five Ducks Foundation’s mission and values

Skills & Qualifications 

• Interest in social media, marketing, communications, or video production
• Comfortable filming and editing content using a smartphone
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
• Creative, reliable, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with content creation is a plus, but not required

Minimum Requirments 

• Must be currently enrolled in a college or university (or recent graduate)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work on-site in Danbury, CT, during camp hours (flexible schedule)
• Must be comfortable working in a youth camp environment
