Position Overview
Concord Preparatory School (CPS) is seeking responsible and detail-oriented AP Exam Proctors to support the administration of Advanced Placement (AP) exams during the May testing period.
The proctor will be responsible for ensuring a secure, organized, and compliant testing environment for multiple AP subjects.
Key Responsibilities
- Proctor AP exams in accordance with College Board testing policies and procedures
- Monitor students during exams to ensure academic integrity
- Distribute and collect testing materials accurately
- Provide clear instructions to students before and during exams
- Manage exam timing, breaks, and transitions between sections
- Report any irregularities or incidents during testing
- Assist with classroom setup and cleanup before and after exams
Exam Schedule
Proctors may be assigned to one or more of the following sessions:
May 4, 12 PM – AP Microeconomics
May 6, 12 PM – AP Physics 1
May 8, 12 PM – AP Chinese & AP Macroeconomics
May 11, 8 AM – AP Calculus AB & BC
May 12, 12 PM – AP Psychology
Some sessions may require simultaneous room coverage due to multiple exams occurring at the same time.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to remain attentive for extended periods
- Prior proctoring or classroom experience preferred
- Comfortable managing groups of students in a testing environment
