AI Development Intern (Full-Stack / Agents / Automation)
Title: AI Development Intern — Build Autonomous Systems for Real Estate

What You’ll Do
You won’t be fixing bugs or writing test cases all summer.
You’ll own a real product initiative from start to finish.
Smote has pivoted to become Dealyo. At Dealyo, we are building an AI-native system that automates real estate transactions. Today, humans (Transaction Coordinators) manage deals manually. We’re replacing that workflow with software + AI agents.
You will:
- Own a project end-to-end (example: “auto-ingest emails into a deal + extract documents, deadlines, and parties”)
- Build agent workflows that reason over messy real-world data (emails, PDFs, threads)
- Design and ship features that customers (agents, brokers) will actually use
- Work with LLMs, embeddings, and structured extraction systems
- Integrate APIs (email, documents, real estate data, etc.)
- Collaborate with senior engineers for architecture + feedback, but you will drive execution
Example Projects
- Build an “email → deal room” ingestion pipeline (new@dealyo.co)
- Create an agent that detects missing documents and follows up automatically
- Extract key contract terms from PDFs and map them into structured timelines
- Design a “deal health” system (green/yellow/red) based on real-time signals
What We’re Looking For
- Strong coding ability (Python, TypeScript, or similar)
- Experience with LLMs, APIs, or automation tools
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and messy data
- Ability to take a vague problem and turn it into a shipped product
- High ownership mindset. You finish what you start.
Bonus:
- Experience with tools like OpenAI, vector DBs, or similar
- Built side projects using AI/agents
- Interest in marketplaces, real estate, or workflow automation
