Finance Department Training Program 

Location: Overland Park, Kansas (HQ – Corporate Woods) 

Type: Full-Time  

Pay: $20 per hour 

Start Date: Summer 2026 

Candidates must have graduated or be planning to graduate in May 2026. Our goal is to hire this Individual full time in the Finance department after 3 months in the training program. 

Ultimate LLC is a construction staffing and logistics company in the Kansas City area with projects all over the United States. We specialize in digital construction workforce management. We are currently seeking to hire for the Summer of 2026 to learn about our company. This individual will have a specific focus in the Finance department but will be learning about the business as you progress through the training program. 

This position will be out of our headquarters in Overland Park, KS. Ultimate LLC is the leader in the digital environment therefore all candidates must have computer skills and a willingness to learn more. We are looking for like-minded individuals with an overall competitive entrepreneurial spirit! 

Responsibilities: 

Work closely with Payroll team for onboarding of field staff 

Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of company databases and customer relationship management systems (CRM) to ensure data accuracy and accessibility. 

Gain practical experience in payroll processes, including learning to operate payroll software and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. 

Develop an understanding of staffing logistics, from recruitment to employee lifecycle management, enhancing knowledge of human resources within a finance context. 

Acquire insights into the financial operations of the construction industry, focusing on how financial resources are allocated, managed, and optimized within this sector. 

Analyze current business practices to propose strategic enhancements aimed at improving operational efficiency and identifying growth opportunities where you see fit. 

Requirements: 

Eagerness to Learn and Professional Ambition: Demonstrates a strong desire to acquire new skills and knowledge, coupled with a proactive professional outlook. 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Solid understanding of Microsoft Office, especially advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 

Self-Motivation: Possesses the intrinsic drive to work independently and take initiative on projects and tasks. 

Educational Pursuit: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program in a related field such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
