Role Overview
The Private Equity Intern will partner directly with the founding team to help scale the firm’s sourcing, business development, and investment evaluation efforts. Designed for MBA candidates pursuing careers in private equity or investment banking, this role offers hands-on exposure to proprietary deal origination, industry analysis, and early-stage investment decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support proprietary deal sourcing through targeted research and outreach to investment banks and M&A advisors
- Conduct industry research, market mapping, and analysis to support investment theses
- Track M&A activity and assist in evaluating potential acquisition opportunities
- Prepare investor-facing materials and internal deal summaries
Qualifications
- Current MBA candidate with a focus in Finance, Strategy, or Entrepreneurship
- Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate development preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
