Sales Trainee

Sales trainee position

This combined role focuses on supporting daily operations by managing inventory, processing orders, purchasing supplies, and assisting customers. Key responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, and organizing stock; fulfilling sales orders; purchasing necessary materials; and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment to ensure customer satisfaction. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Warehousing: Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory; pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately; kit building, conduct cycle counts.
  • Purchasing: Source raw or finished materials, compare supplier prices, and prepare purchase orders to meet inventory needs.
  • Sales & Service: Assist customers via phone or in person, process orders, and provide product information.
  • Logistics & Setup: Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts/pallet jacks) and maintain a clean and safe work environment. 

Requirements

  • Proficiency with ERP systems, MS Office (Excel/Word), and  strong communication and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lift, move, and organize inventory (up to 30–60 pounds).
  • Basic math skills and organizational skills.
  • Have a clean driving record.
  • Team work environment and ability to work collaboratively across departments 
  • Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
