Job Title: Production Assistant (Summer Seasonal) 

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour, Potential Overtime 

Job Type: Seasonal (Summer Full-Time) 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts, 6AM Start 

Work Location: Livingston, MT (In person)

Position Summary 

Join our production team for the busy summer season. You’ll keep the line moving by filling tubs, stacking finished product, staging ingredients, and assisting with end-of-day sanitation. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing a job right, and doesn’t mind cold environments. 

Key Responsibilities 

Pallet Stacking & Staging – Stack 20- to 30-lb cases onto pallets in a -10 °F cold room; wrap pallets and move them to frozen storage. 

Ingredient Handling – Lift and transfer 55-lb sugar bags onto carts or conveyors; rotate stock using FIFO. 

Ice Cream Production – Help fill and stack tubs of ice cream and cartons of novelties. 

Sanitation – Help clean and sanitize ice-cream piping and fittings after the shift using CIP/COP procedures (training provided). 

Minimum Qualifications 

Age 18+ by first day of work. 

Able to repeatedly lift 55 lbs and stand/walk for an 8-hour shift. 

Comfortable working in cold environments (-10 to 34 °F) with appropriate PPE. 

Reliable transportation to Livingston facility for 6 AM start time. 

Preferred (Not Required) 

Prior food-production, warehouse, or sanitation experience. 

Forklift or pallet-jack familiarity. 

Current food-handler. 

What We Provide 

Paid training in food safety, ergonomics, and powered-equipment use. 

All required cold-room gear (insulated jacket, gloves, liners). 

Weekly ice cream allowance.
