Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and remediate CVEs, vulnerabilities, and security risks using tools like OpenVAS, Nessus, Burp Suite, Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7 Nexpose/InsightVM
  • Lead secure software deployment using SCCM, Group Policy, McAfee ePO, IBM BigFix, Puppet, Chef, Citrix, PDQ, PsExec, CrowdStrike
  • Perform scripting/automation using PowerShell, Python, Perl, Bash, Batch
  • Administer Windows, Linux, MacOS environments
  • Design and secure enterprise IT infrastructure (OS, networks, applications, databases)

Cloud & Network Engineering:

  • Architect highly available, fault-tolerant solutions across AWS & Azure
  • Implement multi-region / multi-AZ, failover, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Configure AWS Transit Gateway, Azure ExpressRoute, and hybrid connectivity
  • Manage Megaport (VXC provisioning) for private cloud connectivity
  • Deploy ELB, Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway
  • Implement VPC/VNet peering, multi-cloud architectures, and BGP routing
  • Configure NSGs, Security Groups, ACLs, and virtual firewalls (Palo Alto VM-Series, Cisco CSR 8000v)

Core Skills:

  • Strong network security, traffic engineering, and secure architecture design
  • Expertise in ingress/egress optimization, routing, and performance tuning
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to simplify complex technical concepts

Requirements:

  • 4+ years in IT deployments / production support environments
  • 6+ years in Cloud Network Engineering (AWS & Azure)
  • 4+ years in high availability architecture, hybrid networking, security engineering, Megaport

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT / Engineering
  • CISSP, Security+, or CEH (required)
  • AWS Advanced Networking Specialty / AWS Solutions Architect / Azure Network Engineer Associate (preferred)
