Cloud Engineer
Location: Hybrid – Plano, TX or Reston, VA (2 locations available)
We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud professional who can operate at a strategic, advisory level.
- 13+ years of experience in Cloud / Infrastructure Engineering
- Recent experience in the Banking, Finance, or Mortgage domain is mandatory
- Ability to drive architecture decisions and influence cloud strategy

💡 What You’ll Do
- Lead cloud architecture strategy and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives
- Design and build scalable solutions on AWS (preferred) or Azure
- Drive automation and CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native microservices
- Ensure adherence to financial regulatory and security standards
- Troubleshoot complex performance and connectivity issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions
🛠️ Technical Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Cloud / Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong expertise in AWS or Azure cloud platforms
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) and Docker
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go scripting
✅ Must-Have Requirements
- Proven experience in Financial Services / Mortgage technology environments
- Cloud certifications required (AWS Solutions Architect – Professional preferred)
- Strong hands-on experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
