Location: Camp Kingswood – Bridgton, Maine
Position Type: Seasonal (Summer)
Dates: June 10 – August 13
Salary: $2,500 – $4,000 (based on experience)

About the Role

Camp Kingswood is seeking a dynamic and energetic Yoga Instructor to bring movement, mindfulness, and balance to our summer program.

What You’ll Do

• Design and lead daily yoga sessions for campers ages 7–17 and staff
• Teach a mix of yoga, stretching, and mindfulness practices
• Guide campers in proper form and technique in a safe, supportive environment
• Create engaging, fun, and age-appropriate lesson plans
• Help campers build strength, flexibility, and confidence
• Foster a culture of mindfulness, wellness, and positive energy across camp

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for yoga, movement, and healthy living
• Experience teaching or practicing yoga (formal certification preferred but not required)
• Ability to engage and work with children of varying ages and skill levels
• Positive, energetic, and supportive presence
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Community Responsibilities

• Serve as a cabin counselor during non-program times
• Participate in all aspects of camp life including meals, evening programs, and camper care
• Help build a welcoming, inclusive, and spirited camp community
