Dermatology Medical Scribe - Fairfax, VA and Rockville, MD

We are expanding our team and seeking two full-time or part-time Medical Scribes to join us! This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, ability to thrive in a cooperative team environment, verbal and written communication skills, numerical skills and organizational abilities.

Patient contact hours and on-site training are offered, including certification in Good Clinical Practice and Medical Photography.

Interested and qualified candidates also have the opportunity to gain experience as a Clinical Research Associate or Coordinator, with opportunities to be involved in cutting-edge research including US FDA trials, and to learn how to write study methodologies and protocols.

This position is also suitable for pre-med, pre-PA or pre-nursing candidates taking a minimum 1 year and ideally 2 years gap time who wish to be in the strongest position possible for graduate school application.

Responsibilities (training provided):

• Interfacing with the Clinical Investigator, Sub-investigator, clinic patients, IRBs and CROs
• Authentication of data collection and completion of case report forms
• Monitoring and overseeing clinical trial progress
• Medical photography and writing reports
• Assisting in the design of clinical trial materials and management of study centre equipment and logistics

​Qualifications:

• Qualifications in life sciences, medical sciences, pre-med, pre-PA or pre-nursing are an advantage.
• Previous research experience is desirable but not necessary.
• New grads welcome.
