Single-Cell Laboratory Research Associate 

Location: Sacramento, CA (In-Person)

Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000 per year

Bonus: Quarterly performance bonus up to 10% of base salary (following 3-month probation)

Job Summary

Novogene is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Specialist to join our single-cell sequencing team. This role focuses on the high-precision execution of cell sorting and sequencing applications, offering an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of genomic technology. The successful candidate will also participate in specialized training at our international headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

Cell Sorting & Preparation: Perform high-quality cell and nuclear suspension sorting utilizing Fluorescence-Activated Cell Sorting (FACS) technology.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Execute comprehensive single-cell flow cytometry data analysis and generate detailed experimental reports.

Instrument Oversight: Manage the daily operation, calibration, and routine maintenance of single-cell flow cytometry equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Laboratory Support: Contribute to general single-cell laboratory operations and special projects as assigned.

Regional Support : Travel/Relocate to Beaverton, OR for specialized business training/support to align with operational standards.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Cell Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a related life sciences field.

Technical Expertise: Strong preference for candidates with 2+ years of experience on single-cell platforms (e.g., 10x Genomics, ScaleBio, or Parse Biosciences).

Lab Experience: Hands-on experience with Single-cell Flow Cytometry and sequencing platforms (Illumina, PacBio) is highly preferred.

Adaptability: Willingness to travel/relocate to Beaverton OR for professional development, support, and training.
