  • Support community engagement through comments and messages

Video and Graphic Creation

  • Capture photo and video content at events

  • Design simple graphics, carousels, and story assets
  • Support campaign launches with coordinated visual and written content

Performance and Learning

  • Monitor engagement and basic analytics
  • Learn and apply social media best practices
  • Stay current on digital trends and youth sports storytelling

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Clear storytelling ability
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable taking feedback and learning quickly
  • Passion for youth development, sports, or nonprofit work
  • Basic video editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools
  • Basic graphic design experience using Canva or Adobe tools
  • Organized and self-motivated

Professional experience is welcome but not required. A strong portfolio will be prioritized over years of experience.

Portfolio Requirements

Please include:

  • 2-3 writing samples such as blog posts, articles, or long-form captions
  • 3 social media examples that showcase your voice
  • 2-3 short-form video samples
  • 2 graphic or carousel examples
