Website Development Intern

Today's Business is a Digital Marketing Agency managing multi-channel campaigns. We help our clients sell their products and communicate their story to the best possible audiences ultimately leading to a premium result. We utilize data and analytics to consistently improve every service of Today's Business which will create sustainable, long term, and transparent successes for our clients.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Today’s Business is looking for interns to work with our website development team. We are looking for students who have HTML/CSS knowledge, who show attention to detail, and who can communicate effectively. Preferred applicants are organized individuals who have front and back end web experience, who can work with a team as well as by themselves. Above all we are looking for interns who take ownership and have a strong desire to learn. Our interns will work directly with our team to develop new websites and maintain current websites. Our interns are required to work a minimum of 15 to 20 hours per week.
QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL INTERN:
- Basic knowledge of HTML, Javascript, jQuery, PHP, CSS/SCSS, Bootstrap
- Familiarity with Wordpress CMS
- Understanding of UI/UX design and best practices
- Experience with front end website development preferred
- Strong problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
- Degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering preferred
YOU WILL PARTICIPATE IN AND LEARN ABOUT...
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance on clients’ websites.
- Assist our website development team with new and existing WordPress website projects
- Assist with internal maintenance tasks for client websites
- Perform needed website audits for areas of improvement as requested
- Assist website team with structured tasks and project completion
