Join Career Advancement for a focused Asset Management Career Intensive designed to give students a strong foundation in technical skills, industry expectations, and recruiting preparation. 

Time: 9.00am-1.30pm

Program will include  interactive sessions, group work, and practical exercises, focused on:

  • Understanding of asset management; buyside vs sell side
  • Career paths & what analysts actually do day to day
  • Asset classes & portfolio construction
  • What makes a good industry , and a good company to invest in?
  • Valuation techniques and Engagement with the Management Team
  • Using AI as a public market investor
  •  Structuring an investment thesis
  • Q & A and Networking lunch; topics to include careers in asset management, interview and recruiting tips, day in the life etc...
