Prekindergarten Lead Teacher
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Prekindergarten Lead Teacher-Director Qualified individual, located in Yorkville, IL. The Lead Teacher will design and implement engaging lesson plans, provide a stimulating and nurturing learning environment, and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in their care. Additionally, the Lead Teacher will support child development by fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence while effectively communicating with families and following early education best practices. Collaboration and teamwork with other staff members is essential to this position.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Lesson Planning and Teaching for early childhood education
- Proficiency in Education principles and the ability to provide age-appropriate learning experiences
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and colleagues
- Experience or ability in Training and mentoring staff
- Director Qualification as per Illinois DCFS licensing requirements
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- Passion for early childhood education and creating a positive learning environment
