Web Designer

Web Designer & Digital Content Manager

Position Summary:
Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the company website, updating project content, and executing ongoing email marketing campaigns. This role combines design, content management, and digital marketing execution to ensure the brand remains current, functional, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Management
    • Update and maintain website content, including products, projects, and landing pages
    • Ensure site functionality, performance, and mobile responsiveness
    • Implement design updates and improvements to enhance user experience
    • Monitor and fix bugs, broken links, and outdated content
  • Content & Project Updates
    • Regularly upload and refresh project portfolios, images, and descriptions
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely content updates
    • Maintain consistency in branding, layout, and messaging across all pages
  • Email Marketing
    • Design and send marketing emails and campaigns
    • Manage email lists and segmentation
    • Track performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions)
    • Optimize campaigns based on performance data
  • Design & Branding
    • Create graphics, banners, and digital assets for website and campaigns
    • Ensure all digital materials align with brand standards
    • Continuously improve visual presentation and usability
  • SEO & Performance Optimization
    • Implement basic SEO best practices (metadata, image optimization, keywords)
    • Monitor website analytics and user behavior
    • Recommend and execute improvements to increase traffic and engagement

Qualifications:

  • Experience in web design and content management (e.g., WordPress or similar CMS)
  • Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo)
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms
  • Knowledge of SEO tools and analytics (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Experience managing multiple digital projects simultaneously

Work Structure:

  • Ongoing, hands-on role with frequent updates required
  • Reports to company owner or marketing lead
  • Performance measured by website accuracy, update frequency, and campaign effectiveness
  • Weekly website updates and content refreshes
