Pay Rate: $30–$35/hr (depending on experience)
About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Summer Camp Instructor to lead our LEGO Robotics & Coding Camp for elementary students. This program introduces young learners to the basics of robotics, coding, and engineering through hands-on LEGO builds and interactive STEM challenges.
This is a fun, high-energy role where creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving come together to make learning exciting and accessible.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging, hands-on LEGO robotics and coding activities
- Guide students through beginner-friendly STEM projects and challenges
- Teach basic programming concepts in an age-appropriate way
- Encourage teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills
- Manage classroom behavior in a fun but structured environment
- Support students in building and testing simple robotic designs
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and site staff
Requirements
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (required)
- Comfortable with hands-on STEM tools and technology
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Energetic, patient, and engaging teaching style
- Available for June–July summer camp schedule
- Experience with LEGO robotics, coding, or STEM education is a plus (not required)
