Film Student Videographer (Paid Commercial Project – Los Angeles)

We are looking for creative and passionate film students in Los Angeles to join us for a fun and hands-on commercial video project.

We are Rowan Appliance, a home appliance company based in Torrance, CA. Our products rank in the Top 10 on TikTok Shop and Amazon, and we’re now creating more storytelling-driven commercials to grow our brand.

This is a great opportunity to work on a real brand project, collaborate with a strong team, and build your portfolio with high-quality commercial content.

This is a contractor-based position, meaning work will be project-based rather than a full-time employee role. However, strong performance may lead to ongoing projects or long-term collaboration.

What You’ll Do:

• Film commercial-style videos for our products (on-site in Torrance)
• Help develop simple story ideas and shot concepts
• Capture clean, high-quality footage (product + lifestyle scenes)
• Work with lighting and camera setup

What We’re Looking For:

• Current film/media student (USC, UCLA, or other LA schools)
• Based in Los Angeles (able to commute to Torrance)
• Basic experience with camera and lighting
• Strong interest in storytelling and visual content
• Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate
