Sales Rep: Events/Venue Operations

ALL QUESTIONS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TOWARDS: us.hiring@micro-agi.com

About Us

MicroAGI is an AI lab pioneering the next generation of robotics. We partner with businesses, paying their teams to film the real-world tasks that teach robots how to operate. In March 2026, we paid out $5M+ to 10k+ operators in 12+ countries. As one of Europe's premier robotics startups, we have partnerships with $1T+ tech firms, and are expanding heavily in the United States.

The Role

Help us bring robots closer to the real world. We're looking for a sales rep to build partnerships with hotels, event venues, and facility operations businesses across the U.S. The target list includes hotels, event venues, convention centers, banquet halls, resorts, campus dining operations, stadium concessions, and amusement parks. The job is finding the right properties and venues, getting in front of general managers, operations directors, and facility supervisors, and onboarding partners whose housekeepers, banquet staff, setup crews, concession workers, maintenance teams, and event operations staff do the kind of physical, repetitive work that produces valuable robotics training data. This role will directly shape how MicroAGI expands into the hotel, event, and venue operations industry.

What You'll Do

  • Scout and qualify B2B leads across the hotel, event, and venue operations sector, including full-service hotels and resorts, convention centers and conference facilities, banquet halls and wedding venues, stadium and arena operations, amusement and theme parks, concert and performance venues, campus dining and university hospitality operations, corporate conference centers, catering halls, expo and fairground facilities, cruise ship provisioning operations, and casino resort housekeeping and facilities departments
  • Run outreach campaigns through LinkedIn, Apollo.io, cold email, cold calling, and in-person visits targeting hotel general managers, venue operations directors, convention center facility managers, banquet managers, stadium operations leads, and campus dining directors
  • Build and maintain relationships with hotel operators, venue managers, event facility directors, housekeeping supervisors, banquet captains, and referral contacts across the hospitality and events industry
  • Take calls, run meetings, and handle end-to-end onboarding of new hotel, event, and venue partners and data collection participants
  • Coordinate headset logistics and participant operations across partner hotel floors, event spaces, banquet kitchens, loading docks, and maintenance areas
  • Keep the CRM tight by tracking pipeline activity across hotel, convention center, venue, stadium, and resort leads, flagging opportunities, and helping build the sales playbook for the events and venue operations vertical
  • Get out in the field with flyers at hospitality supplier showrooms, hotel engineering meetups, and venue management conferences, and represent Shift at hospitality trade shows like HITEC, the Hotel Show, and regional lodging association events

What You'll Need

  • No hesitation around cold outreach, whether that's phone calls, emails, DMs, or walking into a hotel lobby and asking to speak with the operations manager
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when explaining something new to people who haven't heard of it before
  • Self-directed and organized, comfortable working without being micromanaged
  • Interest in AI, robotics, hospitality technology, smart buildings, or the future of work is a plus but not required
  • Experience with CRM tools like GoHighLevel or Apollo is helpful, but willingness to learn is enough
  • Familiarity with hotel operations, event management, convention services, venue logistics, banquet operations, or the hospitality industry is a bonus
