Accounting Intern

Job Summary:

The Aero-Mod Accounting Intern will support the accounting team in a manufacturing environment, focusing on financial record-keeping, data entry, and reporting. This role provides hands-on experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, as well as exposure to month-end close activities and audit support. The intern will work closely with the Controller, Staff Accountant, and Accounting Assistant, and will report directly to the Controller and Staff Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Data Entry & Accounting Support:

· Assist with accounts payable data entry in the financial system

· Enter and post customer payments in financial and banking systems

· Support month-end close activities

· Provide documentation and assist with internal and external audits

· Assist with converting and organizing files into digital formats for improved accessibility

Qualifications:

· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Proactive problem-solving skills

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities effectively

· Availability to work 20–25 hours per week
