Writing Consultant, Engineering Writing Center

The Engineering Writing Center (EWC) is hiring writing consultants for fall semester 2026 and spring semester 2027. The primary responsibility is providing feedback to students on technical writing standards, grammar, and format for writing assignments in engineering courses. 

The Engineering Writing Center is open 12:30 pm-6:30 pm (Monday through Thursday) and 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm (Friday).  Schedules are flexible but need to be within the range of hours the EWC is open.  On average, consultants typically work 8-12 hours peer week. 

Engineering students (all majors) are encouraged to apply. Engineering students must have taken ENGR 3080, Technical Communication for Engineers, at the time of employment.
