Civil Engineering/Land Development Designer
Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support and work with upper level staff to complete project components.
- Research project information in house and at various governmental agencies.
- Perform administrative tasks related to project completion, including submittals to city, county jurisdictions, utilities, subconsultants, etc.
- Use AutoCAD / Softdesk to prepare exhibits, general drafting, and civil designs.
- Field work may include percolation testing, construction observation and field measurements.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BS in Civil Engineering (or graduating soon with same)
- Pursuing a career in Land Development Civil Engineering
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MS software applications a plus
- Familiarity with hydrology and hydraulic analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff and management
- Adaptability and ability to respond quickly and accurately under pressure
Salary
The starting pay range shown is variable, and depends on experience. Compensation is reviewed after 90-day probationary period, and annually thereafter (typically in January).
