Preschool Teacher

EEC Certified Preschool/ PreK teacher or a student that has completed Child Growth and Development looking to gain hours for their certification.  Center is a small school with a loving feel.  Position is 40 hours per week with the opportunity to work a 4 day week.  Candidates do need to pass a background check and fingerprinting prior to employment.

Establishing and enforcing rules for classroom behavior, such as quiet periods 

Planning lessons and activities according to the school’s curriculum

Teaching children age-appropriate concepts

Overseeing classroom activities, including playtime, breaks and meals

Maintaining a clean and welcoming classroom

Supervising children and ensuring their basic needs are met

Creating interactive activities to help children build social skills, such as obstacle courses or arts and crafts

Maintaining classroom materials and supplies

Tracking and reporting students’ progress to their families
