Infrastructure & Operations Program Manager

This position is located at Eglin AFB, FL. The Infrastructure & Operations Program Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of procurement and equipment installations. The PM will work within the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Munitions Directorate, Ordnance Division, Energetic Materials Branch. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record of developing and implementing effective tracking tools and processes. A key function of this position is to present comprehensive updates and reports to branch leadership.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science

Minimum of 8 years in Program & Project Management, with a focus on process improvement.

Proficient in MS Excel (including pivot tables and lookups), MS Project, PowerPoint, government email systems, and procurement processes.

Proficient in Air Force Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols, including the use of safety-toe footwear and eye protection in Hazardous Operations environments.

Effective use of verbal and written communication in a scientific/technical setting.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a dynamic team of scientists, engineers and technicians.

Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET level security clearance.

Due to the requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. citizen.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

An active SECRET security clearance or equivalent.

BS degree in Business Administration.

Experience with DoD Financial Management.

Experience with energetic materials Research and Development laboratory environments.
