Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will lead the development and implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Required

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States. We do not offer visa sponsorship
  • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) (1+ years)
  • Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in the state of Michigan (MI)

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine behavioral needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of treatment strategies.
  • Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and support staff on intervention procedures, data collection, and documentation practices.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, and document all patient interactions in medical documentation systems.
  • Participate in intake processes, patient care planning, and ongoing evaluation to optimize therapeutic outcomes for individuals with disabilities.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
  • Proficiency in data collection methods, analysis, and reporting to inform treatment decisions.
  • Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate patient care approaches.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards.
  • Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations within a behavioral health context.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with families, educators, healthcare professionals, and team members.
