Robot Programmer

We are currently seeking a Robot Programmer for our client, Toyota, located in Georgetown, Kentucky. This is a contract position offered on a W-2 basis. Please note that this role is NOT eligible for visa sponsorship, and applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
Job Responsibilities:
- Online robot programming
- Sealer, UBC, and Dampening
- Run trials and adjust parameters
- Evaluate quality drawings and meet standards
- Primer, Base and Clear
- Run trials and adjust parameters
- Evaluate quality drawings and meet standards
- Offline robot programming
- Use simulation software to create robot programs, perform reach studies and cycle time analysis
- Evaluate Quality
- Use elco-meters, wave-scan and X-Rite
- Create Hand Over Documents
- Create snapshots of the robot processes
- Effective communications
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office and communicate with the written word
Requirements:
- Ability to program robots (Kawasaki, Fanuc, Yaskawa)
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
- Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects
- Able to take initiative to recommend projects, product improvements, or cost reductions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 2 years technical degree or equivalent work experience
Bonus if you have:
- Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications
- PLC Programming (Toyopuc, Allen Bradley, Omron ,...etc)
- Experience with Digital Engineering (Catia, Delmia, Solidworks, Inventor)
- Additional related certifications: Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent experience
