French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking an Intern for our GIS Department in Wall, NJ. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating, updating, and managing GIS databases and maps. 
  • Perform spatial analysis to support engineering, planning, and environmental projects. 
  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, and designers on multi-disciplinary projects. 
  • Help prepare data visualizations and reports for internal and client use. 
  • Gain exposure to GIS software like ArcGIS, QGIS, and other geospatial tools.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Geography, Cartography, or GIS related field. 
  • Familiarity with GIS concepts, spatial analysis, and mapping software. 
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. 
  • Enthusiastic about learning and contributing to multi-disciplinary projects. 
  • Able to work collaboratively in a professional office environment.
