Operations Associate
Position Overview:
Cola Wealth Advisors is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Associate to support the day-to-day operational functions of our growing wealth management firm. This role is critical in ensuring efficient workflows, accurate data management, and a seamless client experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily operational processes including account opening, maintenance, and transfers
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of client documentation and records
- Coordinate with custodians, vendors, and internal teams to resolve account and transaction issues
- Assist with trade execution, reconciliation, and reporting as needed
- Maintain and update CRM systems and operational databases
- Monitor workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and operational metrics for leadership
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Provide administrative support for advisors and client service teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in financial services, operations, administrative support, or customer service
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and CRM systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- High level of integrity and professionalism
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with custodial platforms (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity)
- Familiarity with wealth management or investment advisory operations
- Basic understanding of financial markets and investment products
