Sales Engineer Intern

Job Summary:
The Sales Engineer Intern will support the Sales Engineering team by assisting with customer inquiries, technical documentation, proposals, and product selection for engineered honeycomb core and composite solutions. This internship provides hands-on exposure to technical sales, manufacturing processes, and customer-driven engineering applications in an industrial environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in responding to customer inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Support requests for quotation (RFQs), order entry, expediting, and shipping documentation.
  • Help with project take-offs by gathering customer and application requirements.
  • Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Assist in preparing bills of materials (BOMs), spreadsheets, and technical support documents.
  • Support product selection by evaluating customer applications with guidance from sales engineers.
  • Assist with CRM updates, RFQ tracking, and follow-ups.
  • Help manage product samples and sample room organization.
  • Support trade show preparation, customer visits, and sales presentations assigned.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations teams to support customer solutions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to products, processes, and sales tools.

Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a four-year college or university program related to Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations)
